Phlebotomy Certification Workshop with EKG

An additional $25 late registration fee applies if registering within 7 days of the workshop date.
Private Workshops
Private workshops are available for groups and must be booked and paid at least two (2) weeks in advance.

Workshop Overview
- Intensive one-day, 100% hands-on training
- Typically held on Saturdays or Sundays
- Approximately 8 hours of instruction and practice
This workshop is designed to teach participants the proper techniques and foundational skills used in the field of phlebotomy, including:
- Evacuated tube systems with straight needles
- Butterfly needle techniques
- Finger-stick and heel-stick procedures
- Introduction and discussion on performing an electrocardiogram (EKG)
Participants receive instruction, observe demonstrations, practice on specialized training manikins, and perform supervised live draws.
This workshop does not include traditional written exams. Competency is evaluated through hands-on practical assessment.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a National Phlebotomy with EKG Certification.
Prerequisites
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED recommended
